Digital Diary: Journler, Evernote and Mobile Me ((Me from Apple))

Waiting for that final digital diary. It started out with all kinds of blogging software and Circus Ponies ((at least for me as a Mac user)) a few years ago...

Now we got Evernote ((just in Beta on the Mac)) and of course Journler ((which I'm using right now))....

In a few weeks, we will probably a get a revamped .Mac service from Apple ((Mobile Me, Me...whatever ;) )). You probably read the rumors...

My main interest is a better syncing service across the mobile devices and your Mac(s). Evernote's concept is pretty nice...

...still has some teething problems on the Mac side ((it's a Beta, I'm not complaining)). What about some kind of digital diary software added to the next iLife by Apple ((suited at personal entries which may contain an export option to blogging software or iWeb)) ?

A lower price point for the revamped .Mac also wouldn't hurt.

Information Managers for Mac OS X ((Journler for now))

I have written about Journler before and it's the one I like the most for my tasks and work flow. I will have a look at these upcoming software revisions...

Both should be out later this year.

At the moment, I miss some synching features in Journler to web clients and mobil devices. Therefore, I will also have a look at Evernote who now also has a web and Mac client...

PS: Somehow, editing existing posts from within MarsEdit doesn't work for me ((using Vox, don't know about other blogging platforms)) so I'm switching back to the web inline editor. I will give MarsEdit another try once WYSIWIG support is there. Maybe also Ecto3.x. It seems to look like Vox doesn't support editing of existing entries so it's not a software issue.
